SanRe Organic Skinfood loves helping promote Healthy Skin! But along with Skinfood - we believe that there are just So Many healthy avenues for a More Healthy You!
With this 'Shared Interest Page' - we're simply starting to do just that - SHARE info sources on what personally works for us - with our diet, exercise, travel, and local outdoor activities in our lovely Blue Ridge Mountains.
We are NOT here trying to down or advocate against anyone's own personal health/lifestyle choices :-)
As this under construction Interests Page will surely expand and evolve, we'll simply start here with our > post about Healthy Habits; >blog post link about Organic Gardening (we LOVE it); > post about beloved Cardio/Cycling For Your Skin; > another dear-to-our-heart post link about Healthy Water Consumption; and a > list of our favorite Clean and Plant-Based Diet Documentaries.
If of interest to you - we're glad to share - and hope you enjoy!
As many of you know, 2019 was a horrific year for me and my family - as I was diagnosed with Stage-3 aggressive triple-negative breast cancer. I’ve learned sooo many lessons! It’s hard to tell which one is the most important one, but, besides knowing that every day is a gift, because there are no guarantees in life … I’ve truly learned to pay extra attention to my body – and to take those extra caring steps. I’d always led a healthy lifestyle (which helped me through treatments with very minimal side-effects), but in earlier times I treated those extra healthy efforts as “WORK”… During my healing journey towards being cancer free, we upped our game even further in many holistic areas, yet one of the biggest challenges was intensive daily juicing. Not 1 glass, but 8+ large glasses of fresh home-pressed veggie/fruit juice each day. Initially, it seemed unsustainable and impossible, but with time, it became a simple habit :-) Today, I’m officially cancer free and joyfully crave my fresh-squeezed juice every morning -- the habit is definitely sticking and here-to-stay! Moral of the story: Don’t wait to get sick to add an extra healthy-habit routine to your precious life. You’re worth it now!!! Let’s commit to a fantastic 2020, and to the rest of our lives, with one GREAT HEALTHY HABIT AFTER ANOTHER ;-)
