As we approach the Holidays, it’s always a time to sincerely reflect… Sadly, there has been a lot of turmoil in the world… Yet in my little world, I have so much true gratitude: I’m free of cancer, our kids and aging parents are healthy, and the few friends that had Covid went through it pretty easily.

Now let’s get to the INTIMATE SENSATION point ;-) This past year I have been “polishing” all my health protocols, improving old ones and adding few new ones.

With that being said (as requested many times as an addition to our Skinfood Family by many of you and my own family), with no further ado, I’m introducing our Intimate Sensation - Personal Lubricant!

Once I started my research about personal lubricants and was quickly and UTTERLY SHOCKED seeing what chemicals go into most, I was totally grossed out! Trying to calm myself that I shouldn’t be so surprised, because so much of the skincare on the market is so polluted … I was still so flabbergasted that so many must be putting these polluted/harmful lubricants in their most INTIMATE areas :-(

Let me brag some about our new gal – INTIMATE SENSATION! Her ingredients are superb and were intimately researched and chosen to NOT damage/change your internal biome – and to instead sought to holistically help with one's organic health and joyful sensations of love :-)

Organic Avocado (Persea Gratissima) Oil: Although it is classed as a vegetable oil, the avocado is really a fruit since it has a pit - but none-the-less it yields a rich and extremely deep penetrating and lubricating oil, rich in vitamins A, D and E, lecithin, as well as potassium - known as the youth mineral. It is also high in sterolins, which are reputed to help heal skin issues. It was found that avocado oil significantly increases the amount of collagen in the skin and is otherwise wonderfully viscus!
Organic Black Cumin (Nigella Sativa) Oil: This miraculous amber-hued oil is extracted from tiny black seeds of the flowering Nigella sativa plant that originated in Southwest Asia and has been used throughout the Middle East, Africa, and Eastern Europe for centuries. These renowned healing seeds were even found in King Tut's tomb and are well praised in the both the Bible and Koran for holistic healing effect. Modern science has recognized the active omegas, phytosterols and high phytocannabinoid content (found also in hemp, hops and rosemary) to be all beneficial for the immune, digestive and reproductive systems - with research that that black cumin oil has estrogen like effects, and is helpful in regulating hormones, especially in those women experiencing menopause.
Organic Babassu (Orbignya Oleifera) Oil: Native to Brazil and found throughout the Amazon in South America, the Babassu Palm seeds are sustainably collected. Babassu Oil is lightweight and very emollient - with fatty acids that are highly beneficial to the skin, including high concentrations of Lauric Acid and Myristic Acid, which can have a stimulating effect when applied to the skin. Babassu Oil has a neutral fragrance and a light consistency that’s a highly versatile emollient suitable for a wide array of skin care applications, with the added bonus of high tocopherols content; strong antioxidants touted for anti-inflammatory qualities and the ability to blocks pollution-related free-radical damage.
Organic Beeswax (Cera Alba): Natural thickener and sweet emollient, with emulsifying, hydrating and protective properties.
Organic Oregano (Origanum Vulgare) Oil: Oregano was originally grown and cultivated in ancient Greece. The Greek translation of Oregano even means Mountain (Oros) of Joy (Ganos)! Studies have shown that Oregano has beneficial antiviral and antimicrobial properties along with being a sensual and viscus oil!

Along with their sensual viscosities and health positives, these oils were also chosen for their neutral Ph levels, to enhance and not disturb ones own levels and natural biome! If you noticed, the product is free from essential oils. It is intentional, as much as we love essential oils in small amounts in our skincare products (and the more the better in the diffuser), our sensitive vaginas are better off without them ;-) Generally speaking, Intimate Sensation is designed to help with dryness or irritation. Our bodies are smart, if we holistically help them, and don't keep introducing harmful chemicals, they will so often heal themselves! In other words, this new product is wonderful tool, not meant to alter or harm anything, just assist our comfort and natural biome.
