This past week, my heart has been so full.

While we were away in Japan, a mama bird built a nest under our deck. When we came back, I watched those tiny baby birds grow so quickly, it felt like they had doubled in size in just one week. And as I watched them, I could not help but think of Sofia.

Somehow, it feels like she grew up just as fast.

It seems like her Pre-K graduation was just last month. The years went by without ever checking with us to see if they were going too fast or not. And now here we are, celebrating her Graduation, her hard work, her achievements, and this beautiful new chapter ahead.

I am so grateful that both of my kids and my parents were able to be together to celebrate her. Those moments of togetherness are the ones I tuck deep into my heart.

And as I looked at Sofia, all grown up, I could not help but think about how closely her life has been woven into SanRe’s story.

I started this company while I was pregnant with her.

SanRe was born during such a tender season of my life, when I was preparing to become a mama again, thinking about what we put on our skin, what we bring into our homes, and how much those small daily choices matter. I wanted skincare that was truly clean, nourishing, organic, and safe enough for my family.

Through the years, my own skin has changed so much. My mother’s needs inspired me. My own needs inspired me. And as Sofia grew, her needs began inspiring me too.

When she became a teen and started needing her own simple, gentle skincare routine, I wanted to create products she could actually use and trust. Products that felt good on her skin, helped her feel confident, and did not expose her to unnecessary synthetic ingredients at such a young age.

That is how so many of our TEEN GIFT SET skincare ideas came from real life in our own home.

And then came the lip products.

Sofia has always loved a pretty lip color, but as a mom and formulator, I wanted something better for her. Something fun, beautiful, and easy to wear, but still made with the kind of ingredients I felt good about. Her love for lip care and soft color encouraged me to create our Lux Lips and Cheeky Lips series.

So, in many ways, SanRe has grown right alongside her. From pregnancy, to babyhood, to teenage years, to graduation, she has quietly shaped so much of what I create.

And now, as I enter a new season of my own skin, I find myself reaching for products differently too.

For years, I always thought Lavender Dream was too rich for me. I loved it, I respected it, but I would often think, “This is more for someone with drier skin than mine.”  Well, life has a way of changing things, doesn’t it?

As the years have passed, my skin has become drier and more in need of comfort, nourishment, and that rich overnight moisture I used to think I did not need. Now I find myself embracing Lavender Dream in a whole new way. It feels like my skin finally understands what this cream was made for. and the rest of the Dry Skin Gift Set products.

That is one of the beautiful things about skincare. It changes with us.

The products we reach for at 18 may not be the same ones we need at 30, 40, 50, or beyond. Our skin tells a story. It reflects seasons, hormones, weather, stress, joy, travel, motherhood, aging, and life itself.

And as a formulator, I have learned to listen.
I listened to my mother’s skin.
I listened to my own changing skin.
I listened to Sofia as she grew into her own skincare needs.

And I continue to listen to you, our SanRe family, every time you share your stories with me.

That is what makes SanRe so personal to me. These products are not created in a distant lab by people who never use them. They are created from real life, real skin, real family, and real needs.

This week, as we celebrate Sofia’s graduation, I am also celebrating all the ways life keeps moving, growing, and changing. Sometimes much too fast.

But I am grateful.
Grateful for my daughter.
Grateful for my son.
Grateful for my husband and parents.
Grateful for this little company that has grown with us through so many seasons.

And grateful for you, for being part of the SanRe story.

My heart is full.
